On October 26th, 2020 the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) issued Regulation No. 171/2020, extending the suspension of all administrative terms until November 8th, 2020. This means that all terms that have been suspended from March 12th, 2020 will begin to run again on November 9th, 2020, unless a new extension is ordered.
As reported in our earlier Client Alerts, INPI remains operative, with its staff working from home. We too remain fully operative, having transitioned seamlessly into the home working mode.
